  1. Hello!
I just read your comment on my blog concerning the “Magic Mike Who?” post, and although I am no longer publishing or publicly responding to comments on that post in particular, I wanted to find you and thank you for such kind words and encouragement. You cheered my soul.
You also mentioned my response to the young girl, Amber – on a sadder note, someone has informed me that she unexpectedly passed away Sunday morning, and that the last thing she posted on her Facebook wall was the blog post I shared with her about the gospel. I am overwhelmed. God is good, isn’t He?

Thank you again, for encouraging me at just the right time today, as I was doubting whether or not I said enough to her or made things clear enough. I needed to hear your words. God bless you!

    • Thank you for stopping by and letting me know about Amber. Your kinds words are much appreciated and reveal just how involved God is in our daily lives. My commenting on your blog post was in response to what I call “God whispers” – those nagging thoughts that just don’t fade away. I’ve learned to pay better attention to those nagging thoughts after disregarding a particularly strong “nag” and learning later that a dear friend was “crying in the wilderness” and needed to know I was there for her.

After I read all the comments on your post, I went on to something else and got busy doing other things. But your reply to Amber kept coming to mind and I felt compelled to encourage and edify you in some way. It thrills my soul to know that God has used me to encourage you, and I am certain God was speaking to Amber through you last week. To quote my favorite line in Mandisa’s “God Speaking”, He’ll do and He’ll use whatever He wants to, to tell us “I love you”. Amber needed encouragement and God used you to deliver just that!

God is good – all the time!
